Michael P.'s home in Simpsonville, SC had a massive rotting wood deck, which he decided to tear out and replace. When he tore out the deck, he realized that the foundation wall that it was connected to was also rotted out. After researching solutions online, he called Cantey Foundation Specialist for a free inspection and estimate. System Design Specialist Nathan Bailey explained to Michael that Cantey could replace all of his rotten wood rot with treated lumber. This would allow the new deck to be connected to something stable, and it would prevent future problems of wood rot or mold. Production Foreman Jonathan Driggers and his crew replaced all of the rotten wood, which in turn stabilized the foundation wall back into place. Now, Michael can begin rebuilding his new deck so that he could enjoy the rest of his summer!
The concrete located in and around Keith's sun room in his Simpsonville SC home was cracked and sinking to the point that the room could not be occupied. The cracks outside the sun room left the space vulnerable to water damage and Keith knew the problem would only continue to get worse. Cantey raised the sections of sunken concrete using our PolyLevel system and then sealed the remaining cracks with our NexusPro Sealant to protect against water and weather damages.
Brad H. moved into his Simpsonville, SC home about 10 years ago He and his family love their home and the neighborhood. The kids are always playing outside with all the other kids that live around them. One day while playing some flag football with all the neighbors, Brad’s next door neighbor noticed the huge crack on his foundation. His neighbor suggested that he call Cantey Foundation Specialists because the crack was a serious issue and he could at least get a free estimate. Brad called in that Monday and scheduled an appointment. System Design Specialist Ryan Holloway arrived for the inspection and looked over the problem areas as well as the crawl space. Ryan determined that Brad really needed to stabilize his foundation, otherwise it would only get worse. Ryan explained that Cantey had a solution called the Push Pier system that would lift and stabilize the foundation. The process would begin with the crew digging holes around the foundation. A bracket would then be placed at the footing and then piers would be driven into the earth until they found the more competent soil. Once they reached this point, the piers would push against the bracket to lift the foundation back into place. This also creates permanent stability for the foundation. Brad knew he needed the work done and believed that Cantey was the right company for the job. The installation was scheduled and Production Crew Leader Juan Ramirez, Production Crew Member Robert Gardner, and Production Crew Member Justin Stillinger installed the Push Pier system effectively. Brad now has a permanently stabilized foundation and no longer has to worry about his family home.
