Katie D. has lived in her Anderson, SC home for quite some time. Being a single woman means that Katie often has to do her own home repair. Luckily her dad taught her a thing or two when she was growing up. Recently, however, there was a problem had come up that Katie simply did not know what to do. He explained that the system would start with holes that would be filled with engineered gravel. This would be a solid base that would not sink over time like soil. Then a metal plate would be installed on top of the gravel and a metal beam would be installed over the existing wooden beams. A SmartJack would then be secured to the top beam and the bottom plate. Once the SmartJack is level, it is then adjusted to create the lift that the floor above needs. After seeing the pictures of what was holding up her floor, Katie knew she needed something that could permanently give her peace of mind.
