Sally and Brian M. have lived in Mount Pleasant for a few years now. They love their home at the end of their beautiful neighborhood. One day after coming home from a long day, Sally noticed some mold growing on the vent in the living room before she could relax. She mentioned it to Brian and they agreed that they needed to call someone. They asked their neighbors if they had any suggestions. One neighbor said he had a similar issue and he called Cantey Foundation Specialists. Brian called in the next day and scheduled an appointment. System Design Specialist Grayson Forehand arrived for the appointment and did a thorough inspection of the crawl space. Sally and Brian sat down with Grayson afterward and discussed a plan to solve the moisture issues. Grayson showed Sally and Brian some information on Cantey's CleanSpace System. The CleanSpace System would consist of a thick liner of material that would cover the floor, walls, and piers of the crawl space. It would be secured with spray foam adhesive at the top to create a complete barrier between the ground and the crawl space. Sally and Brian believed they needed the CleanSpace system in order to no longer worry about the mold. Production Crew Leader Jonathan Lowder, Production Crew Member Dillon Price, and Production Crew Member David Allan Herbert came out and effectively installed the CleanSpace system. Sally and Brian no longer have to worry about mold and have recommended Cantey to several of their other neighbors.
Cantey Team Members encapsulated this family home in Mount Pleasant, SC to prevent future mold damage in a highly moist area.
The Wood Floor in the Sumter, SC dining room was completely rotten and had to be replaced during the encapsulation of the family's crawl space. Also installed was a SandiDry dehumidifier to keep excess moisture at bay and protect this family's home from further damage.
Travis L. has had allergies and trouble breathing his whole life, but more so since he moved into his new home in Sullivans Island, SC. Thinking it was just something in the air, he ignored his symptoms and just took more of his allergy medicine. A couple of months later, he saw a Cantey television advertisement about how a home's crawl space directly affects breathing conditions in the home. Travis told us, "the very next day I went into my crawl space, and it was disgusting with mold and mildew." He called Cantey to schedule his free no obligation inspection, in which Specialist Grayson Forehand conducted. Specialist Grayson explained that the high levels of humidity had caused mold to grow, wood to decompose, and water to pool.
The best solution to fix all these issues is our patented CleanSpace encapsulation system, which included a sump pump, dehumidifier, and the thickest vapor barrier available. By completely controlling the atmosphere in the crawl space and lowering the humidity levels through the encapsulation system, Travis not only had a beautiful and bright crawl space but also cleaner and more breathable air.
Like many homeowners, Bailey Q. did not expect that her floors had rotten putting her family home at further risk. She had called Cantey Foundation Specialists for sagging floors and wall cracks, and was thrill that the entire issue was discovered and rectified by Cantey experts. A free inspection and estimate led to peace of mind and a stable home.
