Claude W. has lived in her Charleston, SC home for many years now and is finally ready to sell her home. She wants to be closer to her children and grandchildren, so she decided to put her home on the market. She had some repairs to make before the home would sell, however. Some new coats of paint and repairing the tile in the bathroom was the least of her problems. What really needed some attention was the wood underneath her home because the floors were starting to sag. Claude saw a commercial for Cantey Foundation Specialists one morning while watching the news and called in for a free inspection. System Design Specialist Ed VanOsdol was scheduled and arrived for the appointment to begin a full inspection. After inspection Claude's crawl space, Ed sat down with her to show her a plan that he had created to replace all the rotten wood. Claude was really impressed by the professionalism and information that Ed provided and signed the contract that day. Production Crew Leader Marlin Cannon, Production Crew Member David Watson, and Production Crew Member Garrett Johnson came out and effectively replaced all the rotten wood. Claude now has her home on the market and she is looking forward to spending more time with her family.
Jeanne K. of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina had a dirty crawl space with flooding issues. After calling Cantey Foundation Specialists, System Design Specialist Grayson Forehand inspected Jeanne's home and recommended that she hire our #1 Team to install a SmartSump system and CleanSpace encapsulation system. Two weeks later, Production Foreman Israel Santana (along with his Production Crew including Jonathan Lowder and Timothy Young) removed all the falling insulation and finished the installation. Now Jeanne does not have to worry about a dirty, wet crawl space anymore!
Kenna S. of Mount Pleasant, SC noticed her floorboards were warping throughout her home, and she also noticed bathroom tile cracking and wall cracks in the second floor of her home. Knowing this was a major foundation concern, she contacted her friend Specialist Ward Purvis to check out her home. Upon inspection, Specialist Ward found extremely high humidity levels in the crawl space, which caused major disintegration of her wooden structural support system. Specialist Ward recommended replacing the wooden beams with our treated lumber, installing push piers around the perimeter to lift and stabilize the home's foundation, installing SmartJack crawl space jacks to support the floors, and finally a CleanSpace encapsulation to protect the whole home from having these moisture issues ever again.
Robert M. has lived in his Mount Pleasant, SC home for many years with his family. He just retired and has been enjoying life in the low country. Having more free time on his hands, Robert has been able to take better care of his home. When he was looking into his crawl space one day, he realized just how much moisture there was. He wondered what kind of effect this was having on his home and the air inside his home. Robert asked some of his neighbors if they had similar problems and one of them recommended that he call Cantey Foundation Specialists. Robert gave Cantey a call and set up a free inspection with System Design Specialist Patrick Edwardson. Patrick arrived an did a through inspection of the crawl space and took some readings before sitting down with Robert. Patrick explained that the moisture content in the crawl space was causing issues with mold on the wooden beams and was probably getting into the air ducts as well. He explained to Robert that the CleanSpace system would be the only barrier that would prevent this moisture from causing further damage. A thick liner would be installed on the floor, walls, and piers of the crawl space. It would then be secured and then sealed with spray foam at the top. This would be a complete barrier between the moisture and the crawl space, leaving a clean usable area. Robert was impressed by this system and scheduled an installation date. Production Crew Leader Matt Garcia, Production Crew Member Josh Hough, and Production Crew Member Levi Johnson came out and effectively installed the CleanSpace system. Robert is now confident that his home is protected while breathing cleaner air than ever.
Jim N. has lived in Mount Pleasant, SC for his whole life. He and his family found the perfect home for them and have been there ever since. Jim loves to get out and enjoy all that the area has to off but of course, there is no place like home. Although Jim has always had trouble with allergies, they seemed to get worse a few months ago. He mentioned this to his friend and was told it could possibly be because of his crawl space. This friend, Grayson, is a System Design Specialist for Cantey Foundation Specialists. He has continuously seen people have problems with their allergies because of the condition of their crawl space. Grayson came over to do an inspection for Jim and found falling insulation and other signs of moisture damage. After the inspection, they sat down together and Grayson explained how Cantey's CleanSpace system could help Jim and his whole family breathe better. The CleanSpace system consists of a thick liner that is installed on the walls, floor, and each pier in the crawl space. Once the barrier is in place, a spray foam adhesive is injected around the top of the liner to provide a complete barrier. The crawl space is then protected from moisture and pests that can get into the air of your home. Jim wanted the CleanSpace installed to try to help with his allergy issues and scheduled an installation date. Production Crew Leader Israel Santana, Production Crew Member Nick Rish, and Production Crew Member Zenen Dominguez came out and effectively installed the CleanSpace system. Jim is now breathing better than ever and is thankful to his friend and Cantey for providing a healthier environment for his whole family.
