Calvin W. is a homeowner and structural engineer in Columbia, SC. Calvin has always had a passion for engineering and building different kinds of structures. His own home was no exception, he designed his home to be exactly what he wanted. Calvin takes pride in taking care of the home he put so much of himself into. Every year he does repairs or renovates different areas of the home to keep it in top shape. He went down to check on his crawl space and to his dismay found a great deal of moisture. Calvin knew that this moisture was a danger to the structural integrity of his home. In order to keep his home in the perfect condition, Calvin searched for a company that was trusted to waterproof crawl spaces. While watching the morning news before work he saw a commercial for Cantey Foundation Specialists and decided to call in. He was set for an appointment with System Design Specialist Brandon Privette. Specialist Brandon arrived for the scheduled appointment and did a thorough inspection of the crawl space. Brandon finished up his inspection and sat down with Calvin to explain Cantey's CleanSpace system. The CleanSpace system would begin its waterproofing magic with drainage matting that would relieve moisture from the crawl space. A thick liner would be installed along the floor, walls, and posts of the crawl space for a total encapsulation. This CleanSpace liner would then be secured with spray foam adhesive for total waterproofing. This system effectively creates a moisture barrier that protects the crawl space and home above from damage. Production Team Leader Matt Garcia, Production Team Member Nick Riddick, and Production Team Member David Herbert came out and successfully installed the CleanSpace system. Calvin now has the peace of mind that moisture is not going to cause his home harm.
Richard W. has lived in his Columbia, SC since he was married long ago. His wife passed away a few years ago and ever since he has continuously been making improvements to his home in the hopes to leave it to his children one day. Richard was always a handyman and often does most of the fixing himself, however, when it comes to his crawl space he just cannot get into it. He knew that his kitchen floor was sloping and probably needed better stabilization. On the way to the grocery store, he heard a radio commercial for Cantey Foundation Specialists. He called in and was scheduled for an appointment with System Design Specialist Jason Hugg. When Jason arrived, he began his inspection and found that the best solution for Richard would be Cantey's SmartJack system. The installation would start by removing sections of soil where the tightly compacted crushed stone would fill to create a stable base for the footing to be placed on top. A steel beam that would be specifically cut to fit Richard's crawl space would then be placed on top of the footing and attached to the top of the crawl space. These steel beams or SmartJacks could then be adjusted to lift the kitchen floor to its proper position. Production Team Leader Trey Dukes, Production Team Member Estevan Lopez, and Production Team Member Brooks Walker came out and successfully installed the SmartJack system. Richard is pleased that he finally found a company that he could trust to get the job done right the first time.
Rob and Meredith R. have owned their home in Columbia, SC for about 10 years now. They purchased the home after retiring and decided it would be their forever home. They have enjoyed having a newer home after years of owning older houses that needed repairs. They have not had to worry much until Meredith tripped over the front porch and fell down the stairs. The porch had started to sink, causing a major tripping hazard at the top of the steps. They were fortunate that she did not break anything but the porch situation needed to be addressed. Rob started looking for a company that could solve this problem for them and found his answer while listening to the radio. There was a commercial about Cantey Foundation Specialists and their PolyLevel process. Rob called in and scheduled an appointment with System Design Specialist, TJ Harden. TJ arrived and did a thorough inspection of the porch and took some readings. Afterward, he sat down with both of them to discuss how the PolyLevel process was the solution they needed to remove the dangerous tripping hazard. Small holes would be drilled through the concrete slab that makes up the porch. Then a liquid polythene is injected underneath the concrete. Due to this solution being a liquid, it can effectively fill all the void that exists underneath the concrete. The liquid quickly hardens forming a solid foundation and giving the concrete the lift it needs to return to its original position. Rob and Meredith were impressed by the process and decided to hire Cantey to do the job. Production Team Leader, Roberto Buchner and Production Team Member, Josh Hough came out and successfully injected the porch with the PolyLevel process. Rob and Meredith have peace of mind that their porch will not pose any risks to them any longer and have recommended Cantey to others with concrete repair needs.

Mike B. just purchased his Columbia, SC home in hopes that it will be where his children will grow up. He and his wife have two girls under the age of 4 and are looking forward to making many memories in their new home. While moving in, Mike noticed that there seemed to be some mold growing from the vents. He wanted this to be checked out so he did a search online to find a company that could help. He found Cantey Foundation Specialists and called in to schedule a free inspection. System Design Specialist Jamie Beresford came out and did a thorough inspection of the crawl space, finding that Mike did have a moisture issue. Jamie explained to Mike that moisture in a crawl space was definitely something to address. Cantey's CleanSpace system was the solution that could truly give Mike some peace of mind. The CleanSpace system would begin with the floor, walls, and piers being wrapped or covered in a thick material. This material would separate the home and crawl space from the ground and moisture. The material is then secured with spray foam adhesive to create a complete barrier. This barrier would keep the crawl space dry and prevent further damage from moisture. Mike wanted the peace of mind that his family could breathe cleaner air so he scheduled the installation. Production Crew Leader Estevan Lopez, Production Crew Member Jonathan Whitaker, and Production Crew Member Phillip Sullivan came out and effectively installed the CleanSpace system. Mike and his family are now all moved in and are looking forward to making memories in a healthier home.
