Cantey Foundation Specialists Before & After Photos

Jonathan R. called Cantey about Issues with his home being unusually humid inside. He told us that he had been constantly sick for a little over a month when the rain season started in Columbia. We asked him if he had any inspections done before and he said he had not, but this was never a problem for him before. After we inspected his crawlspace, we found mold and very damp soil under his home. Few people know whether they have mold under their house or not, but the only way you can know for sure, is if you have a Cleanspace or not. We changed out his Dehumidifier that was almost as old as the house was, cleaned out all signs of mold and encapsulated his crawlspace with our Cleanspace so the mold would never come back. After only a week, he said he lost his cough and stuffy nose. "I almost forgot what it was like to breathe clean air without going outside," said Jonathan. Ann Marie R. of Columbia, SC has lived in her home with her husband for most of her adult life. Her home has her heart and is the place she plans on staying for the rest of her days. When Ann Marie's husband passed away she had a hard time finding companies to help her make various fixes around her home. Her children no longer live close so she is essentially all on her own in finding a company she can trust to help her. When her basement started to have excess water she knew that the sump pump she had in place was not working properly. Jason arrived for the scheduled inspection and noticed that Ann Marie did need an upgrade on her sump pump to remove all the excess water in her basement. Jason told Ann Marie that the sump pump she needed was Cantey's SmartSump that could remove the water from her basement accordingly. Not only would it get rid of the water causing issues but it would also come with plumbing leak protection because of its pump alarm warning of any leaks. Ann Marie was impressed with Jason and how knowledgeable he was. She felt comfortable having Cantey help her and trusted that they would get the job done right. John M. just moved to Columbia, SC and bought a beautiful home for his family. Getting ready to move in meant that John wanted everything to be just right before his family arrived. He appreciated that this new home had such a large basement and he wanted to utilize that space. Unfortunately, there was moisture in the basement that was going to prevent him from using it as storage. Luckily, John's realtor told him about Cantey Foundation Specialists and gave him the number to call. John called in and scheduled an appointment with System Design Specialist Jamie Beresford. Jamie explained to John that the CleanSpace system would consist of a thick liner being installed on the floor, walls, and piers of the basement. It would then be secured with a spray foam adhesive. John would have a complete barrier between the basement and his home that would keep the area dry, perfect for storage. John now has his family all moved in and they have plenty of space for storage thanks to the CleanSpace system.

Dan W. called Cantey Foundation Specialists because he wanted help keeping the moisture and water out of his crawl space.  After his free estimate, System Design Specialist James David explained to Dan that the best way to keep moisture out of his crawl space is to install a SmartSump system and vapor barrier.  With these two products working together, Dan did not have to worry about any water issues, which could create bigger problems in the future such as mold and wood rot.  Thanks to our Production Crew led by Trey Dukes, customer Dan W. no longer has to worry about his crawl space, and he can sleep peacefully at night knowing that Cantey found the correct solution to his problems!
