David and Laurie M. bought their home in Laurens, SC because of its age. The home was built in the 1800s and they loved the idea of restoring it to its former glory. Getting started they did some painting and replacing wood on the inside. David knew there was the possibility that wood or other repairs would have to be done to the crawl space. Laurie had heard from her mother that Cantey Foundation Specialists did free no obligation inspections. They decided to call in and set an appointment. System Design Specialist Katherine Dillon arrived for the appointment and did a thorough inspection of the crawl space. Katherine found that there were several areas of wood that needed be replaced around the crawl space. She assured David and Laurie that Cantey could definitely replace their wood with no problems. Production Team Leader Israel Santana, Production Team Member Jonathan Lowder, Production Team Member Mariano Valdovines, and Production Team Member Nick Riddick came out and successfully replaced the damaged areas of wood. David and Laurie are now moving forward with different renovations and are thankful for the help Cantey provided on their journey to restoring this beautiful home.
Roger K. of Honea Path, SC used his unfinished basement for storage; however, he noticed after heavy rains that the basement would flood creating high levels of humidity. Production Team Leader Matt Garcia and his crew remediated the mold, graded the soil, and completely encapsulated his basement. Now, Roger can enjoy a dry, bright, and clean basement where he can safely store all of his possessions.
Cindy P. is a homeowner in Hartwell, GA who enjoys the porch on the bottom of her home. She is able to read the books she loves and knit out in the fresh air while still having some shade. Because she spends so much of her time on the porch she noticed when the top of it started to lean. This happened over time but recently started to concern Cindy. She did an internet search on her issue and found Cantey Foundation Specialists. She called in the next day and was scheduled for an appointment with System Design Specialist Dallas Rabideaux. When Dallas arrived for the scheduled appointment Cindy took him over to the problem area of the porch. After the inspection, Dallas came to the conclusion that Cindy needed Cantey's patented SmartJack system to lift and stabilize the porch area. Dallas further explained that the process would start by removing sections of soil where the tightly compacted crushed stone would fill to create a stable base for the footing to be placed on top. A steel beam that would be specifically cut to fit under the porch would then be placed on top of the footing and attached to the top of the add-on. These steel beams or SmartJacks could then be adjusted to lift the add-on to its proper position. Production Team Leader Israel Santana and Production Team Member Jonathan Lowder came out and successfully installed the SmartJack system to Cindy's porch. Cindy is once again relaxing on her porch, no longer having to worry about its stabilization.
Tom and Debra H. have owned their Donalds, SC home for 15 years now. About 5 years ago, they decided to put in a pool for their grandchildren to enjoy. Since then, they have loved summers out by the pool with the grandchildren; swimming, laughing, and playing. A few months ago, before the weather got warmer, Tom and Debra noticed that the concrete around the pool was sinking. They worried about how this would create a problem when the weather got warmer. They definitely did not want any of their grandchildren getting hurt while having fun. They did a search online for concrete repair and found Cantey Foundation Specialsits. Debra called in and made an appointment with System Design Specialist Dallas Rabideaux. Dallas arrived for the appointment and did a thorough inspection of the pool deck. He then sat down with Tom and Debra and explained how Cantey's PolyLevel solution could lift and level their concrete. The PolyLevel solution would begin with small holes being drilled through the concrete slab. A liquid polyurethane would then be injected underneath the concrete. This liquid would expand and harden quickly to lift the concrete and permanently stabilize it. Tom and Debra knew this was the solution for them and scheduled an installation. Foreman Jeremey Wilson and Production Team Member Nick Collins came out and successfully injected the PolyLevel solution. Tom and Debra are now ready for another great summer with their grandchildren by the pool thanks to Cantey's solution.
