Steel Push Piers are the best opportunity to lift a home back to its original position with minimal installation disturbance.
Barry H. is a hardworking man in Lexington, SC. Barry had worked as a Warehouse Manager for 30 years before recently retiring. After his retirement Barry started to notice more about his home. He began to notice cracks in his walls and he wasn't sure of the cause or how to fix it. Barry did know that he didn't like the way they looked so he decided to do something about it. He called Cantey Foundation Specialists for a free inspection. Specialist Richard came to Barry's home and explained to him that the cracks in his walls were caused by his sinking floors. He then went on to explain that Cantey's Smart Jack system was the solution that Barry was looking for. "When you see something like that you don't really think that it's a floor issue, but I'm glad Cantey was able to help me." Team Leader Sixto, Team Member Mariano, and Team Member Jose went out and installed the Smart Jacks that Barry needed. "They were fast and efficient in their work. I'm glad I called Cantey."
Jho M. of Lexington, SC noticed that her kitchen cabinets and fridge were leaning forward and pulling away from the wall, and she was tired of looking at it. She wanted it leveled so that it would no longer be an eye sore, and so that she could install new floors. Calling Cantey Foundation Specialists, System Design Specialist Jamie Beresford inspected the interior and exterior of her home, and he recommended installing our patented SmartJack system as the best solution to her problem. She chose Cantey because she loved the fact that we do not sub contract work out, so she knew that only our #1 team crew would be doing the work. Production Crew Foreman Dallas Darity installed the 8 SmartJacks in her crawl space, which not only lifted but also stabilized her home for many years to come. Jho can now install new floowing without worry!
Vivica F. and her husband moved into their Lexington, SC home 8 years ago. They decided to purchase a bigger home in preparation for starting a family. It was definitely the right decision for them, they love their home. Of course, having small children has prevented them from doing a bunch of updates on their home. There is just never enough time it seems. They did notice, however, that over time their bedroom door would not close all the way. Soon after, a crack began to form which prompted Vivica to want to get the problem fixed. While watching the evening news, Vivica saw a commercial for Cantey Foundation Specialists and decided to call in to schedule an appointment. System Design Specialist Brandon Privette came out and did a thorough inspection of the crawl space. Brandon found that the area under the bedroom was lacking support. He sat down with Vivica to show her how the SmartJack system could help. The SmartJack system would begin with a steel beam being installed for extra support. Then a hole would be dug under the beam and filled with engineer designed gravel. Then a bottom plate would be placed on top of the gravel to hold the SmartJack. The SmartJack would also be attached to the steel beam above. When the jack is level, the crew then tightens the jack to create lift and stabilization. Vivica felt like this was the best solution for her home and scheduled an installation day. Production Crew Leader Jonathan Lowder, Production Crew Member David Herbert, and Production Crew Member Phillip Sullivan came out and effectively installed the SmartJack system. Vivica and her family now have peace of mind in their home and no longer have issues with their door.
Orin G. of Gilbert, SC called Cantey Foundation Specialists after his crawl space jacks began to settle, which was installed by a different company. System Design Specialist Alex Lovette explained to Orin that although our SmartJacks and the competitor's crawl space jacks look similar, they are quite different in the permanent solution. For one, the competitor's crawl space jack does not fix the real problem: the soil. With Cantey's SmartJack System, the SmartJack is put on top of our "Bulb of Influence," which is a 2x2x2 hole filled with gravel. This gravel evenly distributes the weight of the home, and it prevents the SmartJack from settling into the soil. Our competitor's crawl space jack put their system just on top of a concrete block, which will continue to settle. With our patented system, Orin can rest assured that our SmartJacks will never settle causing sagging floors and cracks in the drywall!
