Clifford L. started to notice his floor becoming unlevel in his living room. He wanted to ignore the issue, believing that it would be costly to fix. Unfortunately, he soon could not ignore the problem any longer and knew he needed to fix his floors to ensure that he would not get injured. While listening to the radio, he heard an advertisement about Cantey Foundation Specialists and the work they do in crawl spaces. After setting up the appointment with our friendly Call Center, he soon met Specialist Jamie Beresford. Specialist Jamie went through Clifford's crawl space and found dry rot wood that had been caused by moisture. Specialist Jamie explained to Clifford that to save his floors, he would need to replace the wood that had been damaged and install CleanSpace technology to block out any additional moisture that could cause more damage. Team Leader Matt Garcia along with Team Members Nick Riddick and David Herbert came out and successfully replaced the wood and installed Cantey's patented CleanSpace system. Clifford no longer has to worry about the structure of his floors, and he could not be happier with the service that the Cantey team provided.
Steve T. of Chapin, South Carolina had a fairly large stair-step crack along the exterior of his home, and he was worried that his foundation was compromised. After seeing the Cantey trucks travelling around his area, he called Cantey for a free estimate. System Design Specialist John Adams was sent to Steve's home, and John explained to customer Steve that the crack was a product of his home settling into the soil, which would become a major foundation issue if not corrected right away. Shortly after, Production Crew Foreman Ryan Shirley installed a single helical pier and a single push piers, which lifted and permanently stabilized Steve's home!
Tommy K. of Chapin, SC wanted to protect his largest investment... his home. He noticed that a wall in his kitchen was beginning to separate and crack, which was a major sign of settlement. Knowing this was a foundation problem, he called Cantey Foundation Specialists for a free estimate. System Design Specialist James Davis explained to Tommy that because his crawl space support beams were made out of concrete cylinder blocks and spaced incorrectly, the floor was beginning to sag bringing the kitchen wall with it. Cantey's solution to Tommy's problems was to install four SmartJacks under the kitchen wall and replacing the wooden beam for a more structurally sound crawl space. The SmartJacks lifted and stabilized Tommy's kitchen walls and floors permanently!
George & Anna P. of Chapin, SC called Cantey Foundation Specialists because their sliding door on back porch wouldn't close correctly, and they began to notice sagging floors. Upon inspection, Specialist Jamie Beresford realized that the sagging floors was a result of a rotted center beam. George and Anna agreed to the solution of replacing the rotten beam with our treated lumber and replace any sister joists that were also rotted away. Production Foreman and Service Technician Trey Dukes achieved this, and was able to fix George & Anna's sagging floors!
Dallas R. is a homeowner in Lugoff, SC who has taken pride in his home for 42 years. Unfortunately, Dallas has allergies that started to become worse when he was in his home. He started to notice a musty smell in his closet a while ago and began to wonder if that was the cause of his allergies worsening. Dallas decided that he needed to protect not only his home but his health as well. He gave Cantey Foundation Specialists a call after hearing some testimonials from different people in the community about the work they do. System Design Specialist Jamie Beresford came out and took a look at Dallas' crawl space where he found a rotting beam in the center of the home. He suggested to Dallas that this beam be replaced with the help of one of Cantey's crews. Production Team Leader Israel Santana, Production Team Member Jonathan Lowder, and Production Team Member Austin Boan came out and successfully removed the rotting beam and replaced it with a brand new beam. Dallas is now feeling much better in his home, thanks to the work that Cantey did to protect not only the home but the homeowner.
