Elizabeth and Sammy C. of Williston, SC had a reoccuring crack that would appear above one of their doorways in their hallway. They tried to patch it and repaint, but within a few months the crack would reappear. Knowing that this could end up being a serious foundation issue, Sammy researched into foundation repair companies in their area. After talking and setting up an appointment with Cantey's upbeat and knowledgeable call center, they received a free inspection and estimate from Specialist Jason Hardage. Specialist Jason explained that the cracks were caused by faulty support beams and posts in their crawl space. Team Leader Junior Tamayo and his crew installed four SmartJack crawl space jacks to lift the floor back into place and stabilize the home for many years to come. Now, Elizabeth and Sammy can repatch and repaint their hallway for the last time because the drywall crack will not come back with the efficient SmartJack system!
This homeowner in Manning, SC called Cantey Foundation Specialists concerned about their crawlspace being exposed to elements and animals in addition to excess moisture and sagging floors.
Crews were able to determine and install Smart Jacks, a Smart Sump Pump and Cleanspace Encapsulation.
The Methodist Church of Summerton is built on a concrete slab, and after many years of settlement, the congregation wanted to have a safe environment for their Sunday School classes. After hearing about Cantey Foundation Specialists through word-of-mouth referral, CB Mathis (the representative of the Methodist Church) decided to receive a free estimate. Specialist Jamie Beresford inspected the church, and he advised that the church's foundation be injected with our patented PolyLevel foam, which would lift and stabilize it back into place. The PolyLevel crew led by Foreman TJ Harden began their work in the morning, and they were able to not only lift and stabilize, but they were also able to close the wall and floor gaps. By the early afternoon, the Methodist Church of Summerton was safe to begin their Sunday School classes again!
Brian S. of Kingstree, SC had excessive moisture in his crawl space that caused the subfloor to swell. Every time Brian walked through his bedroom, he could see a hump forming underneath the flooring. Stumbling across our advertisement in the Money Mailer in his mailbox, he decided to give Cantey Foundation Specialists a call for a free estimate. Our Appointment Center Representative Lauren Campbell had an available appointment for Brian within the week. Specialist Eddie Mathis inspected the crawl space and foundation of Brian's home, and he took numerous pictures to exemplify the damage. High levels of moisture caused the structural wood to rot, disintegrate, and become moldy. The best solution was to tear out all the bad wood, replace with our treated lumber, spray other affected areas with Mold X, and rebuild the subfloor. Cantey's crew led by Team Leader Matt Garcia were able to tear our and replace a whole room within two days! Now, Brian does not have to worry about falling through the floor or having major health issues because of the mold in his crawl space.
