Michael B. bought a home a few months ago in Westminster, SC for his family. He recently got a new job in the Upstate and found just the right home for his family. Although the right layout for his small family, Michael knew that the home needed some work. To start there were cracks forming on the outside and he knew that was a sign of foundation issues. He heard about the Greenville Home Show and decided to attend to get some other idea of improvements he could make on the home. It was there that he met a representative from Cantey Foundation Specialists. Michael was really impressed with the company and the level of professionalism they presented. He was set up for an appointment and the next week System Design Specialist Dave Banks arrived. Dave did a thorough inspection of not only the outside of the house but also the crawl space. The foundation did need some work so Dave sat down with Michael to show him the plans he drew up to fix it. Dave explained that holes would be dug around the foundation and a bracket would be installed at the footing of the home. Then piers would be driven into the ground that would push up on that bracket when the reached the more competent soil. This would create lift and close the existing cracks as well as stabilize the entire foundation. Michael was ready to have a stable foundation so he could start moving on other projects and believed in the Push Pier system. Production Crew Leader Sixto Lopez, Production Crew Member Mariano Lopez, and Production Crew Member Jose Lopez came out and effectively installed the Push Pier system. Michael now has a stable foundation and almost has his home ready for his family.
Carmela G. and her family love their home in Westminster, SC. It is where her kids have grown up and she cannot imagine living anywhere else. Over the last year, her allergies have gotten increasingly worse. It seemed like every morning when she woke up, she just felt sick. When one of her sons went to get something from the crawl space storage, he noticed mold growing and moisture underneath the house. He thought maybe it could be the cause of his mothers' allergies since she is allergic to mold. Carmela knew she needed to do something to get some relief so she searched online for a company that could help. She found Cantey Foundation Specialists and called in to explain what was going on. A representative scheduled her for a free inspection with System Design Specialist Fred Sturm. Fred arrived an did a full inspection of Carmela's crawl space. He found that the moisture was causing damage and was creating harmful air for Carmela. Fred suggested Cantey's CleanSpace system for her home. The CleanSpace system would begin with the floor, walls, and piers being wrapped or covered in a thick material. This material would separate the home and crawl space from the ground and moisture. The material is then secured with spray foam adhesive to create a complete barrier. This barrier would keep the crawl space dry and prevent further damage from moisture. Carmela knew that this system would protect her home and help her breathe easier. Production Crew Leader Estevan Lopez, Production Crew Member Jonathan Whitaker, and Production Crew Member Phillip Sullivan came out and effectively installed the CleanSpace system. Carmela no longer has the allergy issues she had before and recommends Cantey to anyone else that is suffering from bad allergies because of their home.
Cynthia & Matthew H. have a beautiful home in Pendleton, SC with a concrete slab foundation. Within only a few years of moving, they started to notice small cracks throughout the home's brick and sheet rock walls. After a few more years, they realized that the cracks were growing larger and larger. After meeting Specialist Jason Hardage at a neighborhood block party, he explained that there was a simple solution rather than tearing out and repouring the whole foundation: our patented PolyLevel system which is less invasive and costs only a fraction of the price!
Barry O. has lived in his Pendleton, SC for most of his adult life. Being a Clemson University fan, it is the perfect location for him to be able to enjoy the football games during the season. After a fun afternoon at the stadium, he came home and his living room smelled musty. Days went by where he attempted to do everything he could think of to get rid of the smell. Unfortunately, it was not going away and Barry had no clue what to do. He asked one of his friends and was told that he may have a moisture issue in his crawl space. Barry looked up online what local companies did crawl space inspections and repair. He found Cantey Foundation Specialists and decided to call in to make an appointment. System Design Specialist Dallas Rabideaux arrived as scheduled and did a thorough inspection of Barry's crawl space. Dallas found that there was definitely a moisture issue which was causing damage to the crawl space and leaving Barry with that musty smell in his home. Dallas sat down with Barry to explain how Cantey's CleanSpace system would be the optimum solution. The CleanSpace system would begin the installation process with drainage matting placed on the floor of the crawl space. This matting would assist the moisture out of the crawl space. Then a thick liner of CleanSpace material would be installed on the floor, walls, and piers of the crawl space. This liner would be secured with spray foam adhesive to create a proper waterproof barrier. Production Team Leader Israel Santana, Production Team Member Jonathan Lowder, and Production Team Member Austin Boan came out and successfully installed the CleanSpace system. Barry is back to cheering on his favorite team with the peace of mind that his home is protected thanks to the CleanSpace system.
