Flooding Still Remained During Initial Inspection
When System Design Specialist Luke Stemple inspected the home, there was still flooding issues in the yard. Clearly, the home had drainage problems.
Installation of Push Piers
During the installation of push piers, water was still flooding throughout the lot. Fourteen piers were pushed at least 75 feet below to find the most stable soil. This lifted and stabilized the home permanently so that if any future erosion occurs, it will not affect the home's foundation.
Erosion of Soil
The soil was washing away for so long that the home's footers began to show.
Problematic Grading
Because of incorrect grading, the water was flooding towards the house thus causing more foundation issues.
Missing Cinder Blocks
Because of the erosion, some of the foundation cinder blocks were even missing!
Grading the Property
Using the excavator, the Production Team drains all the water and then grades the property correctly.
Other Side of Home
On the North and West sides of the home, there was not much flooding issues. It was easier to install the push piers without water intrusion.
Delivering Dirt
Because so much dirt was eroded and carried away by the flood, dirt had to be brought to the property.
Working Together
Many hands helped put this home's foundation back together. Without constant communication and hard working individuals, this home would not have been completed safely in efficient time.
