Branchville, SC Church Stabilized with Smart Jack System
Challenge
Francis W. of the Branchville Methodist Church called Cantey Foundation Specialists for a free estimate because their church had sloping floors and foundation problems. During System Design Specialist William Yarbrough's inspection of the crawl space, he found supporting columns that were removed from previous AC duct workers. This created the problem of sloping and slanted floors, which made it difficult to open and close doors.
Solution
Cantey sent in Production Crew Foreman Israel Santana and crew members Jonathan Lowder and Timothy Young. They installed 35 SmartJacks and 84 Supplemental Beams. This SmartJack System stabilized the floor of the Church from further settling, and now the congregation no longer has to worry about foundation problems!
