Foundation Repair Products Photo Album: Helical Piers Allow Couple to Enjoy Their Porch Again in Salem, SC

Gary G. has owned his home in Salem, SC since it was built in 2005. He loves his home and its structure. Gary specifically designed the porch to be a place that he and his wife would enjoy with friends and family. In the last few years, he started to notice a crack forming on the porch. Gary and his wife began to become concerned and started to not use their porch until they could find someone to fix it. System Design Specialist Ryan Holloway arrived at the scheduled time for an inspection and determined once the inspection was complete that Helical Piers would be the right solution for Gary. He explained to Gary that soil would be removed from the area where the Helical Pier would be installed. Then the Helical Pier is drilled into the ground to the proper depth so that foundation brackets can be positioned below the footing. The weight of the home is then shifted through the Helical Piers to the competent soil underneath. The piers would then lift the home back to its original position. Gary agreed that this was the right solution for his home. Production Team Leader Sixto Lopez, Production Team Member Jose Lopez, and Production Team Member Mariano Valdovines came out and effectively installed the Helical Piers. Gary and his wife are now back to entertaining on their porch and are thankful for Cantey's solution.
