Push Piers Help Settlement Issues In Summerville, SC
Challenge
Customer George P. of Summerville, SC discovered a few exterior cracks around one corner of his home. After researching online, he called Cantey Foundation Specialists to make an appointment for a professional to find the best solution to his problem. System Design Specialist Grayson Forehand arrived at the home to complete the free inspection, and he found that there was a major settlement issue. Specialist Grayson explained that the soil was the cause of the problem, and he recommended our patented Push Pier System to lift and stabilize the corner back into place.
Solution
Knowing that the problem would only get worse, George scheduled an install date. Shortly after, Production Crew Foreman Sixto Lopez and his crew installed three Push Piers around the corner of the home. First, the crew dug to the home's footers. They then chiseled away the footers to install our patented push pier bracket. After adding the patented external sleeve, the galvanized piers are hydraulically pushed until it finds the most stable soil or bedrock. The Push Pier System is the perfect solution to lift and stabilize George's home back into place because it fixes the most important problem of settlement--- the soil itself. After the work was completed, the corner of the home looked as though it never settled in the first place.
