Cantey Finds the Solution for Travelers Rest Customers who are Tired of Musty Smells

Challenge

Customer Victor A. of Travelers Rest, SC had plans to stay his home for a long time; however, he wanted his floors to be straight, level, and structurally sound.  Victor and his wife were also very tired of the musty smells wafting from the crawl space.  After stopping at the Cantey table at the Greenville Home and Garden Show, Victor and his wife signed up for a free estimate.  System Design Specialist Phil Demery inspected the Travelers Rest home, and he explained to the customers that the problems were because of moisture in the crawl space.  The high moisture levels had caused mold to grow and the support posts to weaken.  Specialist Phil recommended our patented SmartJack system and CleanSpace encapsulation system.  

Solution

Production Crew Foreman Jonathan Driggers and his crew installed 8 SmartJacks to reinforce the crawl space support posts.  The SmartJacks lifted and stabilized the floors above correcting Victor's problems of a sloping floor.  Next, the Production Crew installed a dehumidifier and completely encapsulated the crawl space.  This CleanSpace encapsulation system ensures a stable and healthy humidity and moisture readings, while also keeping critters and bugs out!  Customer Victor A. and his wife can now settle into their home for many years to come knowing that their floor is completely stabilized and their crawl space clean and dry!  As an added bonus, Victor said "my wife no longer has allergies inside our home!"
