CleanSpace Makes Devoted Family Man More Comfortable in Evans, GA
Challenge
James S. of Evans, GA is a homeowner and family man who just wants the best for his favorite people. James' wife and kids are his whole world so he does everything he can to take care of them and their home. He was alerted to moisture issues in his crawl space after a termite inspection. After having to replace several beams and part of the subfloor because of wood rot, he decided he needed a more permanent solution. James search the internet for a company that could assist him in taking care of his family and home. Cantey Foundation Specialists was the first name that popped up so he called in. He was scheduled for an appointment with System Design Specialist Michael Scott Jr. who came out and did a thorough inspection.
Solution
Michael explained to James that Cantey had a solution called the CleanSpace system that would be lasting and provide a healthier environment for his family. The CleanSpace system would start with drainage matting being placed on the floor of the crawl space. Then a thick liner would be placed on top of this and wrap the entire crawl space including the beams as well as the walls. This liner would be secured using a spray foam adhesive for a full waterproof barrier. In this case, a SmartSump pump was to be installed with the CleanSpace system to pump out any excess water that may exist under the liner that would be carried to the sump pump through the drainage mat. Production Team Leader Israel Santana, Production Team Member Nick Riddick, and Production Team Member David Herbert came out and effectively installed the CleanSpace system and the SmartSump. James is confident in his families safety and health thanks to his newly installed CleanSpace system and SmartSump.
