PolyLevel Restores Driveway in Awendaw, SC

Challenge

Jim F. is a homeowner in Awendaw, SC. Jim likes to use his driveway for more than just parking his car. He also enjoys exercising and playing with his children on it. It’s more of a multipurpose space for Jim and his family and he would like to keep it in tip top shape. Jim did have an issue with his driveway though. Jim’s driveway is propped up on a hill and it help by a retaining wall and concrete. The issue is the driveway’s concrete slab had begun to settle and it was putting more pressure on the retaining wall. This was causing more damage than it should. This caused Jim a great deal of stress and worry because of the way the retaining wall was built things could get bad if this issue wasn’t fixed soon. After talking to a friend from his community, Jim called Cantey Foundation Specialist for a free inspection. Specialist Kendall Moore came out to Jim’s home for the inspection. Afterwards, Kendall explained how Cantey’s patented PolyLevel process was the solution he was looking for.

Solution

PolyLevel is a process in which Iso and Resin are combined to for a polyurethane. This polyurethane is injected underneath the concreate. Once injected the polyurethane begins to expand in a foam like form. This foam then begins to harden as it expands. The combination of expanding and hardening then lifts the concrete and levels it to desired standards. This foam flows from the injection site through the path of least resistance to traverse into the voids underneath the slab. This ensures that what’s being filled and lifted are the locations which created the problem to begin with. Team Member TJ and Team Member Jeremy came out to Jim’s home and began working. They completed the project efficiently and effectively. Afterwards, Jim said how happy he was to be able to enjoy his space once again. “This area means a lot to me and my family, from playing sports to just hanging out. Around here this is the get together spot and I am happy y’all were able to fix it.” Now Jim and his family can enjoy their driveway once again thanks to Cantey.
