Concrete Slab Raised in Columbia, SC
Challenge
This home was originally purchased as a house the owners intended to flip. After awhile they decided they loved it more than their own home. One of the major problems though was the lower part of the split-level home was sinking down. There was a 3" gap between the slab and the drywall. As soon as Tom got out to the home he knew exactly what was needed in order to correct this problem.
Solution
The solution for this was to pump PolyLevel under the concrete slab. This entailed drilling about 12 small holes in the slab and then pumping in the foam. Within minutes you could see a visible difference, and withing three hours the job was finished. When we started you could put your hand in between the drywall and the floor, afterwards you couldn't even fit a few sheets of paper.
