Commercial Foundations Photo Album: SmartJacks Renew Kitchen Floor in Augusta, GA

Steven L. just moved to Augusta, GA for a job opportunity he could not pass up. He hated to uproot his family but this would afford them a better life. Moving it was not difficult and neither was getting used to their new life in Augusta. The only problem arose one night while they were eating at the kitchen table. Steven noticed that the table was leaning and at first thought, it was just the table. Unfortunately, it was not just the table but the floor itself. Being new to the area, he had no idea who to call to protect his family and home. Steven did an internet search and found Cantey Foundation Specialists. He called in and was scheduled for an appointment with System Design Specialist John Adams. When John arrived for the appointment, he did a thorough inspection of the crawl space to determine the best solution for Steven's sagging kitchen floor. John sat down with Steven after the inspection to explain how Cantey's SmartJack system could properly lift and support his floor. The SmartJack system would begin with sections of soil being removed where the SmartJacks would be installed. These would then be filled with the tightly compact crushed stone designed by engineers to be a stable base for the SmartJack to support the weight of the home. A footing is then installed on the stone where the SmartJack would then be attached to the footing and the beam above. Once each of the SmartJacks are secure and level, each would be adjusted to create lift and stabilization. Steven believed this solution to be the right one to protect his family and home. Production Team Leader Jonathan Lowder, Production Team Member Matthew Kelley, and Production Team Member David Herbert came out and successfully installed the SmartJack system. Steven is amazed by the results that the SmartJack system was able to achieve and is confident that his family is safe.
