Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: CleanSpace Makes Forever Home Happier and Healthier in Gaffney, SC

Brian and Karen D. have lived in their Gaffney, SC home since their children were young. Their love for their home of nearly 20 years has never faded. They decided a long time ago that this was going to be their forever home. All seemed well until a moldy smell started coming from the vents. Brian suspected that there was something going on in the crawl space and needed an expert to take a look. While watching the news one morning, Karen saw an advertisement for Cantey Foundation Specialists. They called us and scheduled an appointment with System Design Specialist Grant Davis. Grant arrived for the appointment and got to work looking over the entire crawl space. He found that Brian and Karen had very elevated humidity levels causing water damage and mold growth. After the inspection, Grant sat down to explain how Cantey's CleanSpace system could not only solve the humidity issues, but also create a healthier home for Brian and Karen. The CleanSpace System would begin with the installation of drainage matting on the floor. Then a thick liner of CleanSpace material would be installed along the floor, walls, and piers. This liner would be secured with a spray foam adhesive to create a complete barrier. A SmartSump would also be installed to allow any excess moisture to flow out from the crawl space. Brian and Karen believed in the solution that Grant had explained and felt that it would help them keep their forever home healthy. Production Team Leader Jonathan Lowder, Production Team Member David Herbert, and Production Team Member Matthew Kelley came out and successfully installed the CleanSpace system. Brian and Karen are now even happier and healthier in their forever home with Cantey's help.
