Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: CleanSpace Completely Fits the Needs of a Pacolet, SC Family

Chris H. owns a quaint little home in Pacolet, SC where he is raising his family with his wife. One of his children began having problems with allergies and after a doctor visit, Chris became concerned. The doctor had noted that the allergy issues could be coming from their home. Chris remembered the many times he has had to replace rotting wood in his crawl space. He had known about the moisture issues for years but did not understand how much of an effect it could have on his family. Chris knew he needed to find a solution that would allow his family to breathe healthier and cleaner air. The CleanSpace system begins with drainage matting being laid down on the floor of the crawl space. This matting will allow the extra moisture to flow out of the crawl space. Once this is in place, a thick liner is installed along the walls, floor, and piers of the crawl space. This material will keep the crawl space dry and clean. Spray foam adhesive is then applied between the liner and the crawl space to make the perfect waterproof barrier. Chris was overjoyed with the thought of what the CleanSpace system could do for his family and decided to get it installed.
