Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: CleanSpace Brightens Crawl Space in Taylor, SC
Stephen D. has lived in his Taylors, SC home since 1991 and plans to make this his forever home with his wife. Stephen built the home to raise a family but now he and his wife are empty nesters. They have started to slowly do a few improvements to their home which included some maintenance to the yard. While trimming the hedges on the side of his home Stephen saw the crawl space door and thought he should take a look to make sure everything looked fine. Upon taking a look, Stephen found that he had a considerable amount of moisture damage. He knew he needed to act quickly to protect his home and wife from harm's way. He remembered seeing a commercial for Cantey Foundation Specialists so he looked up the number and called in. System Design Specialist Jerod Tafta arrived for the appointment and did a thorough inspection of Stephen's crawl space. Jerod found an excessive amount of moisture damage that Stephen had clued him in on. Jerod sat down with Stephen after the inspection and told him about Cantey's patented CleanSpace system. This system would begin with drainage matting being laid on the floor of the crawl space which would help any moisture flow out. Then a thick liner would be installed to the crawl space floor, walls, and piers to give a complete barrier between the ground and crawl space. Spray foam adhesive would then be used to secure the bond between the CleanSpace liner and the crawl space for the perfect moisture barrier. Stephen was impressed with the CleanSpace system and thought it would be the right solution for him. Production Team Leader Trey Dukes, Production Team Member Estevan Lopez, and Production Team Member Tyler Walker came out and effectively installed the CleanSpace system. Stephen is now confident in the moisture protection that is now installed in his crawl space and is enjoying cleaner, healthier air in his home.
