Eric B. has owned his home in Charleston, SC for ten years now. It was newly built when he bought it and he has not had many problems with it since. Last Fall he started to notice cupping in his floors caused by moisture damage. Charleston tends to get rain and flooding which had taken a toll on Eric's home. He knew he had to find a solution to keep his family safe. His neighbor had a similar problem and had Cantey Foundation Specialist install their CleanSpace system. He showed Eric the product installed in his crawl space and gave him the number to call. Eric set up an appointment with System Design Specialist Grayson Forehand. Specialist Grayson did his inspection and found that the CleanSpace system would be the right solution for Eric. Grayson explained that the CleanSpace system consists of a liner being measured and cut to fit the whole crawl space. The liner would then be attached using a spray foam adhesive to secure the bond between the CleanSpace material and the crawl space. This would create a barrier that would keep moisture from further damaging the crawl space and pull out any excess moisture. Production Team Leader Dallas Darity, Production Team Member Dallas Elgin, Production Team Member David Watson, and Production Team Member Dwight Clark came out and effectively installed the CleanSpace system. Eric and his family are back to enjoying their home and are no longer worried about their floors or further moisture damage.
Hanging Insulation
Insulation falling is a good indicator that moisture has made its way into the crawl space.
Unhealthy Air to Breathe
Moisture damage can also cause mold growth that is dangerous to breathe.
Waterproof Barrier
The CleanSpace system makes a barrier that is impenetrable for the moisture underneath.
CleanSpace and Clean Air
Clean air to breathe is also a major benefit of having the CleanSpace system installed.
