Photo Album: SmartJacks Bring Confidence Back to Homeowners in Conway, SC

Linda and Gray S. moved into their Conway, SC right after they were married and have had no desire to ever move. When the effects of hurricane Matthew came through, they were ready and felt confident in the stability of their home. The heavy rain ended up flooding around their home and crawl space. They did not truly feel the effects of this damage until a few months later when their doors began to stick. They knew that most likely, there were repairs that needed to be made to their crawl space to get their home back to stability. Not knowing who to call, they searched the internet looking for a local company they could trust. The found Cantey Foundation Specialists in their search and called to schedule an appointment. On the day of the appointment, System Design Specialist Grayson Forehand arrived ready to inspect. Grayson found that Linda and Gray were right about the state of their crawl space. The flooding had caused the soil to wash out, meaning that the support they once had was washed away with that soil. They needed a solution that would be lasting and bring back that security which the SmartJack system could provide. Grayson further explained that soil would be removed at each of the SmartJack locations along the crawl space. Tightly compacted crushed stone would fill these holes and a footing would be placed on top of that creating a stable foundation. Galvanized steel beams specifically cut for their home would then be attached to the footing and then attached to a beam that would run along the top of the crawl space. Production Team Leader Israel Santana, Production Team Member Jonathan Lowder, and Production Team Member Austin Boan came out and effectively installed the SmartJack system. Linda and Gray are back to being confident in their home and are thankful to Cantey for providing the perfect solution.
