Photo Album: Woodworking Fixes Unseen Damage in Columbia, SC
Richard N. is a homeowner in Columbia, SC that decided to rent out the home his mother left him to a family in need. He believed it was the best use for the house he grew up in for another family to be able to create memories there. Recently the mother of the family called Richard to tell him about a moldy smell that was in the kitchen. She had looked everywhere and cleaned all around but the smell continued. Richard went out to the house to have a look in the crawl space. There he found that a pipe that had leaked and been fixed a while ago had caused wood damage that began growing mold. He wanted to get this fixed right away but did not know who to call. Richard went online to see if he could find a professional in the community that did wood rot repair. He came across Cantey Foundation Specialists in his search and gave them a call. He scheduled an appointment with System Design Specialist Jamie Beresford. Specialist Jamie came out and inspected the problem area and told Richard that Cantey could definitely fix this issue. He further explained that Cantey's team often did woodworking on many crawl spaces. Production Team Leader Trey Dukes, Production Team Member Estevan Lopez, and Production Team Member Brooks Walker came out and successfully replaced the rotting wood in the crawl space. Richard is pleased with the work Cantey did and is confident that the family he rents to has a healthy home.
