Photo Album: GeoLock Anchors Catch Falling Wall in Seneca, SC
Joan M. is a homeowner in Seneca, SC in the home she built years ago. She had a brick wall built on the side of her home for privacy. Recently she noticed the wall beginning to lean and even crack. Joan feared that she would have to do a total replacement, which would be costly or give up part of her home's privacy. She had a company come out and inspect it, however, they had ideas to fix the wall that did not make sense to her. At a loss, Joan had no idea what to do but then one of her friends recommended Cantey Foundation Specialists. She called in and scheduled an appointment with System Design Specialist Katherine Dillon. Katherine did an inspection and found that the best solution for Joan's problem was Cantey's patented Geo-Lock Anchor system. These wall anchors would be installed on the interior of the wall then a steel rod would be placed through the wall. This rod would anchor the wall using the most competent soil underneath the surface. This anchor system would stabilize the wall and stop the leaning. Production Team Leader Aubrey McJunkin, Production Team Member Francisco Lopez, and Production Team Member Oscar Mota came out and successfully installed the Geo-Lock Anchor system. Joan no longer worries about her brick wall and is thankful to Cantey providing the best solution.
