The Problematic Side
This side of the Columbia home had the most problems and difficulties. System Design Specialist Eddie Mathis had the solution for a french drain and push piers to stabilize this side of the home.
Exterior Cracks Along Home
This exterior crack in the brick is a troubling sign that settlement is an issue in this home.
Exterior Crack Fixed with Push Piers
The "After" picture of one of the exterior cracks. After the push piers were installed, the home was lifted and stabilized back into place; this allowed the cracks to close correctly back into place.
Damage and Crack Underneath Crawl Space Door
Underneath the crawl space door, there was another exterior crack and some water damage. This corner of the home needed better stabilization.
Corner of Home Stabilized with Two Push Piers
Pictured are two of the push pier brackets on the corner of the home that was settling. By installing our patented push piers, this corner of the home will be permanently stabilized for many years to come.
Crawl Space Door Crack Fixed
After the corner of the home was stabilized with the push piers, it is evident that the crawl space door that originally had a crack has been fixed.
Installation of Drainage System
The French Drain was installed on one side of the home with the most drainage issues. This is what the drain looks like underneath the ground.
Another Drainage Solution
In addition to the french drain, the Production Crew also extended the downspout to bypass the crawl space and flow further downhill. Production Foreman Sixto Lopez is testing the process in this picture.
