Photo Album: CleanSpace Encapsulation in Taylors, SC Crawl Space
Customer Danny C. and his wife started to notice odd moldy smells throughout their home in Taylors, SC. They also could not completely close one of their bedroom doors, and some cracks began to appear above their door frames. They called Cantey Foundation Specialists because they were worried it all originated in the crawl space, and it could only be the beginning signs of more problems. System Design Specialist Trey Smedley inspected his home and gave Danny a free estimate; Specialist Trey found a dirty, wet crawl space that was desperately in need of mold remediation, a drainage system, new crawl space jacks, and a CleanSpace encapsulation. Cantey's Production Crew led by Foreman Israel Santana tore out all of the old insulation, installed a drainage system with a dehumidifier and sump pump, sprayed with MoldX treatment, and replaced any damaged and moldy wooden beams. They also stabilized the floor above with the patented SmartJack crawl space jack, and when that was all finished, they finally encapsulated the whole crawl space. Now, Danny and his wife no longer have to worry about mold issues, and they have a bright and clean crawl space!
