Cantey Volunteers at the Harvest Hope Food Bank in Columbia

Owner William Cantey, Sales Manager Luke Stemple, Marketing Manager Kimberly Mobley, Assistant Marketing Manager Portia Mellott, Call Center Manager Laurie Delost, and System Design Specialists Jamie Brelsford volunteered at the Harvest Hope Food Bank in Columbia on Tuesday, December 22nd of 2015.

Upon arrival, tasks were given such as creating assorted toiletry bags, separating and bagging produce, collecting various foods and goods, putting it all into grocery carts, and delivering said grocery carts to the individuals who needed it most.

It was a light-hearted day and great way to get out of the office to help our community in need.  When the Food Bank line was incredibly long, Cantey split into teams and competed against each other to who completed filling and delivering the cart the fastest.

Needless to say, William Cantey won with his tenacious and competitive spirit!

Cantey Foundation Specialists were happy to give back to our community during this festive season.  It was an eye-opening experience, but we will definitely be volunteering again!
