Photo Album: Woodworking Gets Homeowners on the Right Track in Charleston, SC
Mark and Lynsey R. have always wanted to move to Charleston, SC and their dreams are finally coming true. A few weeks ago they closed on a house in the perfect area but it needed some work done. They were up for the challenge of fixing up this house to make it home. The first order of business was to do something about the floor. The wood was rotten and needed to be replaced all over the house. Mark searched online for a company that did this kind of work and found Cantey Foundation Specialists. He set up an appointment for the following week and met System Design Specialist Kendall Moore at his new home. Kendall did an inspection of the floors and mapped out the areas that needed to be replaced. He assured Mark that Cantey could replace the wood with no problems. Mark and Lynsey decided Cantey was the company for them and scheduled an installation date. Production Team Leader Matt Garcia, Production Team Member Nick Riddick, and Production Team Member Brooks Walker came out and effectively replaced the flooring. Mark and Lynsey are on the right track to making their house a home, thanks to Cantey getting them started.
Total Replacement
The existing beams and subfloor of this home were not in the right condition for the new homeowners to even think about moving in.
Safety First
The wood was in such disrepair that all of it had to be taken out and replaced in order to create a safe environment.
A Solid Base
The wood was all successfully replaced to make a solid base for the new homeowners.
Starting to Feel Like Home
Now that the floors are intact, the homeowners are beginning to make other repairs and renovations to the house to make it feel like home.
